Part of a loutrophoros decorated in the red-figure technique. It was found in fragments in 1955 at the Sanctuary of the Nymphe, was pieced together and restored.

It depicts a wedding scene. A winged female figure with her hair gathered in a sakkos is about to crown the now missing bride with a white ribbon. Behind her a hand holding a lit torch, most probably belonging to the bride’s mother, can be seen.
